License Agreement
With your purchase you agree to the following licensing terms.
Standard Template License
All our Canva templates come equipped with a commercial standard license. This license grants you the right to download the templates and assets, make a copy in your own Canva account, modify, add your own information, and use them as often as you want in 1 Personal or Business Social Media account.
A separate license is required for every social media account, including client accounts you manage and use the templates for.
You cannot resell or redistribute the templates, design assets, icons or parts of them in any way.
All template designs are copyrighted.
Membership License Extension
Becoming a member in our Social Boutique Membership extends your Standard Product License.
All templates and assets downloaded within the membership can be used in 1 Personal or Business Social Media account. However, you are allowed to use the templates for client purposes, if you are a social media manager or an agency (see below).
You can use all downloaded templates under this license as long as you are an active member.
This license expires once you cancel your membership subscription. Please note that this also applies to all templates downloaded into Canva, but not to already posted content.
Please note that templates and brand assets or parts of them downloaded in the membership cannot be resold or redistributed. We will take legal action if we find a breach of this agreement.
Social Media Manager License
If you are a social media manager or an agency, you can use all templates and resources on up to 50 client social media accounts.
You can NOT give away the templates (as-is in Canva) to your clients or share the Canva links with them. All files used for client purposes have to be final PNG, JPG, MP4, etc. graphic or video content.
You can use all downloaded templates for client purposes as long as you are an active member.
AI-Powered Stock Photos License
By purchasing and downloading our AI-generated stock images, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Usage Rights: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AI-generated stock images for personal or commercial purposes. This includes but is not limited to advertising, marketing, promotional materials, websites, social media, print media, and presentations.
Copyright: The AI-generated stock images provided are not subject to copyright protection as they are generated using artificial intelligence technology. However, this license does not transfer ownership of the images to you, and we retain all rights, title, and interest in the images.
Resell and Sublicense: You are allowed to resell, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the AI-generated stock images to any third party. The right to resell and sublicense the images is non-exclusive, meaning that we retain the right to grant similar rights to other parties.
Prohibited Uses: You may not use the images in a defamatory, obscene, or illegal manner. You may not use the images in a way that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
No Warranty: The AI-generated stock images are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the images. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use the AI-generated stock images, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the AI-generated stock images in violation of these terms and conditions.
Governing Law: This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
Modification: We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications or amendments shall be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other platforms.
We make every effort to ensure that the AI-generated stock images provided comply with all applicable laws and regulations. However, we cannot guarantee that the images are free from any copyrighted materials or that their use will not infringe upon the rights of third parties. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the images complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright law. We disclaim any liability for any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the AI-generated stock images.
